Barbara Jaye Wilson and Dennis Giangreco
Budding authors Barbara Jaye Wilson (then Barbara Wilson) and D. M. Giangreco (then Dennis Giangreco) at Volker Park in Kansas City sometime in the early 1970s. Between the two of them, they would author nearly 20 books -- so far. Screen shot from a bumper segment in the independent film, Cowtown Ballroom: Sweet Jesus! Originally posted May 26, 2019.
I should have known that she’d eventually become a mystery writer because she was always haunting the used bookstore next to the Sign Coffeehouse looking for copies of Erle Stanley Gardner’s Perry Mason novels. I guess that means that I was haunting it too!
