The 2019 Geneva Motor Show is now just two weeks away and Tata is planning to showcase several numbers of world debuts at the annual event in Switzerland. In this Geneva motor show the Indian Auto carmaker is expected to have 4 global unveils, and has confirmed the production of its new hatch, The Tata Altroz.
Before the Geneva, its teaser play time for Tata and one after another Tata is unveiling the six letter name words by words, and as said by Tata it’s new hatch name is derived from “an agile seabird.” Previous teaser dropped the first letter A, as expected earlier was named as Aquila but then another teaser shows the third word i.e. T, so it could be named as Altroz derived from Albatross.
These are the trivia’s we don’t know what exactly Tata is planning to name its stylish new hatch but what we know is Altroz is gonna retain its design elements from concept 45X based on Tata’s new ALPHA modular platform, some tech features like floating instrumental cluster are taken from Tata Harrier and the Nexon, under the hood Altroz is equipped with 1.2L turbo petrol and 1.5L turbo diesel engines paired with automatic and manual transmission options.
Altroz being TATA’s most premium hatch will be competing with Hyundai I20, Honda Jazz, Ford Freestyle, Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Volkswagen Polo,
