A lone hyena managed to drag this away from the clan of hyenas that were squabbling over the remains of what we suspected was a new born or very young giraffe. We didn’t see the kill but by the time we found it there were 23 hyenas in a scrum over the carcass. This lone hyena managed to escape with a leg.
