Class 91124, carlby

Class 91124 seen speeding passed carlby with carlby village just in the backdrop, this is the exact location where the mallard broke the speed record for the fastest steam locomotive in the world in July of 1938 reaching 126MPH. l its borrowed time in the debranded VTEC colours. I thought this was a very good composition considering the class 91s still hold the British locomotive speed record of 161.1 MPH just north of here at little bytham. This locomotive was sent straight from Doncaster WABTEC back a few days ago, working 1D21 London Kings Cross to Leeds. 25/03/22
