Looking back down the hill, Stanton St John, Oxfordshire

Taken from near the previous image looking back the way I came. I think the footpath joined the lane by the little red postbox in the centre of the image.

It was the ceanothus that caught my eye.

And a typical English road...an artistic tapestry of tarmac and potholes.
