Perhaps the most 'Chocolate Box' corner in England.

The previously posted cottage in Ebrington at the beginning of our afternoon's drive, this at the end, just south of Stratford upon Avon. Time to go home before over-trying the kindness and patience of t'other half and driver (who sits in the car saving the world on his phone whilst I dash about like a thing possessed).

This cottage with the church perfectly placed behind it must appear on more calenders, chocolate boxes and jigsaw puzzles that any other in England. The other contender must be Godshill on the Isle of Wight.

This is near the end of Boat Lane, a cul de sac (I think) that ends at the River Avon.

Most of the rest of the village is rather dull, with a lot of what looks like retirement housing, but peppered with a good scattering of incredibly picturesque thatched cottages.
