The Almshouses, Mapledurham, Oxfordshire

Early 17th century almshouses, originally six, now converted into two cottages.

Mapledurham is a delightful, and seemingly remote small village compromising of a few cottages, grand house, church, almshouses and a lovely old working watermill on the banks of the River Thames at the foot of the Chiltern Hills.
