The pub stands on the southern side of the smaller, tree shaded village green, and looks to be everyones idea of the perfect English village pub. A popular filming spot for Midsomer Murders, not only because of its obvious charm but also the two village greens have no-through roads so are easy to cordon off and cause minimum disruption.
