Like all the other states, there are countless mysteries and haunts in Massachusetts. The spirits lingering in Massachusetts has us pining for more of the legends that have been passed down from generation to generation.

There are a lot of hot spots in Massachusetts, this one was tough to narrow down. However, we did it.

Arlington - Whittemore - Robbins Cottage

The Whittemore - Robins Cottage (House), has been a variety of establishments since being built in 1800.

The cottage has been a private home and girl's school. In 1931, the home was donated to the town of Arlington and is now used as a place for non-profit organizations, weddings, official town business, private function gatherings for Arlington residents, and gatherings alike.

There is a woman who is said to haunt the location. Her apparition has been seen numerous times. Witnesses claim she is an older woman dressed in servants clothing dating back to the 1800's era. The staff believes she is a former servant. No one really knows who she is, or why she remains at the cottage. She is seen walking in the back of the house and going through walls.
