I made a spontaneous trip to visit my sister and her family, who live on the other side of the state, a 5.5 hour drive. They are devastated because their beloved wonderful sweet dog Trixie died very unexpectedly - she was only 2. (And I don't want to go into any more detail here.... please don't ask.) They are heartbroken.

 

But, kids are resilient. My niece was very excited to show me her latest slime projects.
