RT 4496 (RG)
The only Country route to lose RTs during 1973 was the 406 which was affected by the drafting in of RMCs, to Reigate and Leatherhead consequent upon the introduction of the final ANs of the 1972 batch at Grays. This occurred on 24th February 1973, but RTs did not leave the 406 completely, the Leatherhead allocation in particular continuing to feature these vehicles for three more years. Reigate RT 4496 (RG) is seen at Tadworth station on Monday 25th June 1973. F-4.
