Last night it was announced that there was a shortage of tanker drivers to deliver fuel to garages and so ensuing panic set in as many motorists scrambled to fill up their vehicles. So wherever a bus route passed a service station some were heavily delayed by vehicles blocking roads waiting to enter garage forecourts. Caught up in this, Go-Ahead Metrobus E96 LX08 EBV failed to get to Catford on its previous northbound working on the 320 so it turned short at Downham Way, Bromley Road.
