Obsessive Compulsive Disorder - Dr. Sanjay Jain

OCD stands for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, it is a psychiatric disorder which usually occurs in 2-3 % of the population.

 

OCD is divided into two parts:

 

The thoughts which are irrational, useless and occurs repeatedly in a person against his will is known as an Obsession.

 

A behaviour which is done by a person when he experiences a lot of distress is known as Compulsion.
