20th May 2021 00:19:39 hr UTC

ZWO ASI178MC camera.

150 degree f/1.2 fisheye lens

All Sky Optics weatherproof housing.

AllSkEye 0.9 Software.

Remote miniPC/home iPAD control via Wifi.

This is a 40s exposure at Gain setting 140. First quarter Moon setting. Some high cloud.

The Iridium satellites were an early satellite constellation used by the Iridium company to provide worldwide satellite phone coverage. There were about 130 or so.

They were notorious for causing bright flares if they caught the Sun at the right angle - most have now "deorbited" but some are still flying. According to my Planetarium App, this is Iridium 28 flaring brighter than any of the night time stars.
