Comet C/2017 T2 (PANSTARRS) on the 23rd June 2020 [Robotic, GMO_2, Colorado]
This is a single 5 minute uncalibated sub from the system 2 scope at the Grand Mesa Observatory at Whitewater, Colorado, USA.
it was taken on the June 23, 2020 using a QHY367 Pro C Full Frame OSC CMOS camera on a William Optics 156 Refractor Telescope.
The comet reached perihelion on the 4th May 2020 at 1.615 AU. It came in from the Oort cloud and has an orbital period of around 58000 years.
In this image, it is close to spiral galaxy NGC 4217 in the constellation Canes Venatici and spiral galaxy Messier 106 is seen near the right border.
