First of Class
To coincide with work being carried out at the weekend on the Paignton line, Colas Rail 70804 hauling a railvac down to Goodrington Sidings. The engine, plus railvac, although rather out of sight! Is seen approaching Sands Road crossing, Paignton, with the (6C51) 09.13 from Westbury. The loco would pause to pick up the Colas staff member who would then do the coupling/uncoupling in the sidings.
This was the first time a member of the class had visited the line. Although many don't seem to keen on the 70s I have rather a fondness for them, any loco's better than no loco!
