This photo was taken at approximately five in the afternoon. In your wildest dreams you could never see the blues that come up in this photo with the naked eye; one can only see dark variations of ochre. The thin film of water helps to magnify the color, however the lower purple section of this image field is quite similar to the image field found on the previous stone; just a different execution style of technique and pigments. It is almost like the stones have the ability to tell time; the red and golds are common in the morning and the blues are visible with a camera in the evening. The eyes and perceptive acuity of this ancient unknown North American culture was apparently far different than our modern visual acuity for colors.
