Project : HARBOUR VIEWS – Plot 18 - Residential
Locaton : Dubai Creek Harbour Island, Dubai, U.A.E
The Residential towers are oriented to maximize the view towards the marina with the Burj Khalifa and the Sheikh Zayed Road and Downtown skyline as the back-drop on one side and the park with its lush green landscapes on other side. Project Brief : The project work consisted of providing Architectural services to assist the Dubai project team for the production of Detailed design. A multidisciplinary Coordination approach was used with teams in Dubai and Bangalore offices to produce a high quality output with project specific standards along with Dubai Municipality submission drawings.
Typology & Components : Harbour views consists of a twin tower configuration, each of the 46 floor residential tower sits on top of a 4 level podium (2B+G+50), with additional podium level apartments on the 2nd floors, and 14-units of 2 storey townhouses that front a Landscape deck. The Ground floor level retail outlets with outdoor dining areas encourages a shopping and café culture destination, similar to what has been implemented in the downtown.
Facade Strategy - These Facade details are my first facade details for a high rise residential tower in Dubai. I was part of developing Facade in Revit for HVAC Calculations and Detailing for construction drawings.
