Heat Detector
heat detector is that part of the fire alarm system which alerts the occupants from the danger of possible fire. Do not get confused with heat detector and smoke detectors. As both are the part of the fire alarm panel and the end function of both the detectors is the same i.e. to detect upcoming fire. However, both works with a different mechanism. Heat detectors work by detecting the thermal lag or a bump up in the thermal temperature of the premises whereas smoke detector functions when the smoke from the fire starts traveling to the detector.
