Blackburnian Warbler--Female
I found a lot of female warblers this spring during migration. This little warbler flies from the northern portion of South America--where it winters--across the Caribbean, across Cuba to the United States where it continues to migrate to Northern Michigan and Ontario, west to lower Manitoba and as far east as New Brunswick where it nest and raises its young before returning to Venezuela and Brazil.
On her way, she stopped for rest and refueling at Tawas Point, an indispensable migration location.
