Lucifer Hummingbird
I have returned from a five-week birding tour across Southern Texas, from west to east.
The Lucifer Hummingbird seemingly can be found in two spots in the United States, both just across the Mexican Border: Southeast Arizona and Big Bend NP, Texas. Otherwise, they live in central and southern Mexico. The funny thing is they don't appear in large numbers like other HBs of the Southwest. They seem to adopt one location and stick with it. But anyone who birds in these spots is sure to find them.
