Prairie Warbler

I finished my warbler season down in Lake Hope State Park in the Zaleski National Forest, a wonderful habitat with many different species of birds.

 

One of the warblers I found was the male Prairie Warbler, the first male I have photographed. He wasn't shy at making himself available. The only challenge was keeping my lens on him as he flitted from point to point as he found food on the leaves of bushes and trees.
