Sir Bors Heads For Town - 30763
Southern Region N15 King Arthur class 4-6-0 No. 30763 Sir Bors de Ganis, having left the Stewarts Lane (73A) stud and joined Nine Elms (70A), heads for home through Wimbledon with an extra working from Bournemouth during the busy summer holiday period on the 18th June 1960.
Over time, Sir Bors had exchanged tenders on a number of occasions, but here nearing the end of his career he had been attached to a Urie 5000 gallon example, in March 1956, from withdrawn N15X class engine No. 32330 "Cudworth."
