Countless layers of paint that were designed to protect but actually caused great harm to the brickwork, now crumbling away.

 

Part of the Grade II listed Sipelia Works in Sheffield. A former cutlery factory, now home to the charity Emmaus Sheffield. The more useable sections of the building house formerly homeless men and women plus a great charity shop.
