Dinosaurs in the Wild

Another brilliant mixture of practical effects and stage craft. Midway giving a talk on one group of Dakotaraptor eggs the "scientist" realised one was having difficulty hatching, so grabbed it and rushed out of the room. Our tour guide filled in for a few minutes until she returned with newly hatched puppet gradled between gloves.

The kids lapped it up, one even getting to name the new dinosaur, and I appreciated how fluffy and downy the young theropod had been designed as.

Of course, you could buy the puppets later on in the shop. Good marketing, then, too!
