G-ARGR is taxiing to Riem’s runway 25 for take-off. According to my notes, this Viscount arrived at the airport on 6 May 1977 and left on 8 May 1977.

Delivered to Air France as F-BGNN in 1953. To Maitland Drewery as G-ARGR in 1960 then to BKS Air Transport and later Silver City Airways in 1961, Merged into British United Airways in 1962. To Air Inter as F-BOEB in 1966 then to Alidair as G-ARGR in 1975. Renamed Inter City Airlines in 1981. To British Air Ferries in 1983 then to MMM Aero Services as 9Q-CAN in 1984. Scrapped at Kinshasa in 1987.
