OY-APE was noted at Riem on 29 August 1985, 31 August 1985 and 1 September 1985. Seen here parked in the "Ostpilz" area south of the runway. Also reported at Riem on 3 September 1972 with Maersk and 29 March 1988 with Star Air (only two months before its crash at HAJ).

OY-APE, built for Maersk Air in 1970, flew for Alkair between 1984 and 1987. Its subsequent operator Star Air lost the Friendship in May 1988, when it crashed on approach to Hannover during a cargo flight.
New to Maersk as OY-APE in November 1970. Leased to AeroPeru as OB-R-1072 from March 1973 to July 1975. To Air Rouergue as F-BYAI in March 1977 and leased to Gulf Air as A4O-FA in July 1977 (via Danish Aero Lease), transferred to Oman Aviation in June 1981. Leased to Air Jet as F-GDFT in March 1982 (subleased to Air Inter). To Alkair Flight Operations AS as OY-APE in September 1984. Transferred to Star Air in September 1987.
