D-ABBI is lined up for take-off on Riem’s runway 07. Note ITT Corp’s Gulfstream I N720G in the background on the right- it came to Munich almost every year during the 1970s.

 

Note: D-ABBI (2) was Boeing 737-86J(WL) c/n 32920 / 1293 flying for Air Berlin from March 2003 to March 2012.

19793/519. It had a cargo door and was used in quick-change configuration doing passenger services during the day and cargo services at night. New to Lufthansa as D-ABBI in 1968. To Pluna as CX-BKA in 1978, CAM Air International as N4555W in 1983, Flying Tiger Line in 1984 and Jet East as N725JE in 1985. To Evergreen International as N748EV then to DHL Worldwide Courier in 1989. Reregistered as N702DH in 1990. Withdrawn from use at Kingman, AZ in 2001. Still there in 2011. Later scrapped.
