G-AVFK is taxiing past Riem’s viewing terrace to runway 07 for take-off. A JAT Caravelle and Condor B727 can be seen on the ramp in the background.

 

First flight 2 November 1968, delivered to BEA on 17 January 1969. Merged into British Airways in 1974. Broken up at Heathrow in 1982. Fuselage to Hounslow Heath for use as an anti-terrorist trainer, moved to Valley by 1997 and Lyneham in 1998. Scrapped in 2011. (Source: Paul Seymour on airhistory.net, planelogger.com)
