C-1 was also noted at Riem on 30 October 1969, 27 May 1971 and 14 January 1987.

C-1 was used by the Netherlands Air Force for 36 years, between 1960 and 1996. The aircraft was in such good condition that it could be flown in Africa thereafter for over ten years more; it was last noted active as 9Q-CLN with Air Tropique in 2007; in 2015 it was seen in storage at Kinshasa.
The Fokker F27 was the workhorse of the Dutch Air Force for almost 36 years. C-1, C-2 and C-3 were F27-100 ‘Friendships’, the other nine were F27-300M ‘Troopships’ with a larger cargo door. (Source: Rob Schleiffert on flickr) C-1 had a VIP configuration. (Source: ipms.nl)
