Fokker F27-500 Friendship
10341
Sterling Airways
Information from airhistory.net - thanks to Stephan Barth (slightly adapted):
Sterling Airways operated two Friendships for a few years, both aircraft were sold to East West Airlines of Australia in 1973 (OY-STO as VH-EWO). Following service with MVA as N292FA and TAM as PT-LAL, Friendship 10341 came back to Europe in 1999 and would fly for Farner Europe until 2009. Stored at Bergamo as HA-FAC, it was broken up after 2012.
OY-STO was first noted at Riem on 17 May 1969 and last on 1 August 1973. It visited fairly often during the period in between. Note the Iberia DC-9 and Tunisair Caravelle in the background.
