Balkan Bulgarian Airlines

 

LZ-TUP at Riem in the final Balkan Bulgarian Airlines colour scheme.

 

Delivered in 1971 to Bulgarian Air Force in Balkan Bulgarian Airlines colours. With Bulgarian Air Force as 050 by December 1978. Back with Balkan Bulgarian Airlines as LZ-TUP by 1980. With Bulgarian Air Force as LZ D 050 by July 1995. With Hemus Air as LZ-TUP by September 1997. Last noted SOF 10 February 2004; bought by a film studio to make movies about hijacking airplanes (as LZ-ACS with fictitious airline Transair International); scrapped in 2004.
