17+03 is taxiing to Riem’s runway 25 for take-off.
This was the last VFW-614 produced, and it has survived until today. First flight 29 July 1977, delivered to Luftwaffe as 17+03 on 30 August 1977, wfu on 30 September 1998 with 10093 flights and 12091 landings. Thereafter having been bought by a Jersey based company it was leased to Muk Air A/S of Denmark as OY-RRW until 2003 when it was sold to Lufthansa Technical Training as an instructional airframe registered D-ASDB initially at St Athan in Wales then later at Kemble in Oxfordshire where it resides to this day.
