Note: The registration D-BOBY was used for two different Fokker F27s: c/n 10106 (this one here) and c/n 10257. It was previously also used for Vickers 635 Viking 1B c/n 293 flying with Trans-Avia Flug in the late 1950s and later for De Havilland Canada DHC-8-102 c/n 177 flying with Hamburg Airlines and Cirrus Airlines from 1998 to 2008.

The fourth F-27 built (excluding two test airframes), delivered to Aer Lingus on 19.11.58 as EI-AKB, also served Philippine A/l, Alia, Spantax, Aviaco and WDL before becoming the first large aircraft with Manx Airlines as G-IOMA in 9.82. Went on to Loganair in 9.83 and back to WDL in 1986. Wfu and used for fire practice at Västerås 4.96.
