Air Calypso
N602SA is taxiing to Riem’s runway 25 for take-off.
Leased from Intraco/International Air Lease Inc.; ex Airlift (titles still visible on the forward fuselage). According to reports from the time, this aircraft was inscribed "leased and operated by Barbados Intercontinental Airways" (on behalf of "Air Calypso") - I think this may be the small line of text visible under the cockpit. Visited Munich-Riem on 1974-01-10, 1974-01-12, 1974-01-14, 1974-01-16 ..., operating cargo charter flights (vegetables, fruit) to Asmara and Jeddah, respectively, every two days.

Delivered to Slick Airways as N602SA in 1862. Merged into Airlift International in 1966. To Air Calypso then to Cairgo as VP-LAT and registered as N62174 in 1974. To Tradewinds as G-BCWJ in 1975. Damaged beyond repair when undercarriage collapsed on landing at Nairobi on 6 July 1978.
