N636 (2)

Grumman G-159 Gulfstream I

149

E. F. MacDonald Company

From 1965, the E. F. MacDonald Company used the registration N636 for G-159 Gulfstream I c/n 149. Before, Martin 4-0-4 c/n 14135 had worn this reg for the company. In 1978, the registration was again transferred, this time to North American Sabreliner 60 c/n 306-140.

The aircraft was active at least until 2017 but is reported as withdrawn from use on the G-159 Historical Research Museum site (g159hrm.com). The last operator Phoenix Air provided electronic warfare training to the US Navy using two modified Gulfstream I aircraft.
