Garuda started a new MUC-Medan-DPS service every Friday beginning with the 1992 summer schedule on 3 April 1992, possibly the date of this shot.

 

Information from airliners.net - thanks to Iain Gains:

F/F 11/12/91 & D/D 31/12/91 as EI-CDI to Garuda Indonesia (lsf GPA Group). Re-registered PP-VPN from 12/96 - 06/04 when leased to Varig Brazil. Re-reg N499HE 06/04 - 09/04 upon return from this lease. Re-reg N574FE 29/09/04 to FedEx Express, & converted to a freighter in November 2005. She is still current in April 2023, in her 32th year of flying.
