München-Riem
June 1983
SU-BBX "Ibis"
Boeing 737-266/Adv
21193 / 453
EgyptAir
SU-BBX is taxiing to runway 07 with a Pan Am 737, Lufthansa 737 (D-ABHK) and LTU TriStar visible behind (the tail of a Denver Ports of Call 707 can also be made out).
This airframe had been noted at Riem as SU-AYJ with EgpytAir on 7 January 1977 and also as SU-BBX on 8 June 1980 and 31 May 1985 (there were probably many more visits throughout the 1980s).
Information from airhistory.net - thanks to Paul Seymour:
Delivered to Egyptair as SU-AYJ in 1976. To Transavia as PH-TVN in 1977. Back to Egyptair as SU-BBX in 1980. To Kenya Airways as 5Y-KHV in 1992. To LAPA as N193GP in 1997. Reregistered as LV-PNI then LV-YBS in 1998. To Southern Winds in 2003. Withdrawn from use in 2005, possibly at Buenos Aires-Ezeiza, there were some derelict Southern Winds 737s there in 2016 and they are still there on satellite image in 2021.
