EgyptAir

 

SU-AYO had been noted at Riem with EgyptAir on 25 May 1979 and 4 January 1980 as well as with Air Sinai in March 1983. Following its return from Air Sinai, the aircraft was reported at Riem in EgyptAir’s new colours on 31 March 1990, probably the date of this shot.

 

The Boeing 737 in the background is D-ABEB "City Jet Regensburg", one of the very early -130 series models for Lufthansa (c/n 19014, line number 3).

 

First flight 8 July 1976. Delivered to EgyptAir as SU-AYO on 20 July 1976. Leased to Air Sinai from January 1983 to January 1990, then returned to EgyptAir until December 1999. To Bali International Air as PK-KLJ in August 2001 and to Jatayu Air as PK-JGV in May 2002. (Source: planelogger.com) Scrapped at Jakarta (CGK) in ca. 2007.
