The first Airbus A300B prototype on its first and only visit to Munich-Riem (still wearing its airshow number 155 from the Paris Aérosalon). Parked in front of the Lufthansa maintenance hangar and difficult to catch from the outside.

 

First flight 28 October 1972 as F-WUAB and re-registered as F-OCAZ later in 1973. Wfu 27 August 1974 at Toulouse and scrapped, but major parts preserved at Deutsches Museum, Munich (fuselage section, left wing, engine and main landing gear).

 

(Airbus A300B4-203F c/n 238 is displayed at the Aeroscopia Museum, Toulouse, in prototype colours and with the prototype's registration F-WUAB.)
