Overseas National Airways (ONA), Korean Airlines colours

 

The slide was dated September 1976, and I had noted an ONA DC-8 with basic Korean colours at Riem on 8 September 1976 - probably the date of this shot. N8635 had also visited the airport in the same colour scheme on 6 June 1976.

 

This DC-8 had been returned from a three-years lease to Korean Airlines one year before, and still showed the Korean colours when it visited Munich. The aircraft crashed in March 1977 on approach to Niamey. (Stephan Barth on airhistory.net)
