c/n 22024 - Boeing 737-2L9 was delivered new to Maersk Air as OY-APH in Dec 1976, but was only with the airline four years before being sold to Guiness Peat Aviation as EI-BII. The aircraft was immediately leased to Aerotour as F-GCGS, but only for a few months, before being leased to TAAG Angola as D2-TBU. A year later, the aircraft was with Bahamasair as C6-BEQ. In 1990, it returned to the USA as N737Q, and flew with airTran Airways and Sky King Inc. into the 21st century. The aircraft ended up with Aviation Technologies Inc. and was retired in the 2000s. The aircraft was scrapped at Merced, CA [which was formally Castle AFB] in 2010.
