Sud SE-210 Caravelle 10B1R

Istanbul Airlines

Another version of this fantastic shot taken from a slightly different point, with Malev Tupolev Tu-154B-2 HA-LCR parked behind and the Lufthansa maintenance hangar as a Riem landmark visible in the distance.

This airframe had previously visited Riem as HB-ICQ with SATA and CTA several times during the 1970s.

Information from airliners.net - thanks to Ian Gains:

Built as F-BNRB for UTA in 1967, this Caravelle became HB-ICQ in 1972, firstly with SATA and then with CTA. She was sold to Istanbul Airlines as TC-ASA in 1987, and finally wfu in 1991.

Stored at Eskisehir, Turkey, still seen in November 2006 (source: www.planelogger.com).
