HB-ISN is lined up for take-off on runway 07 on a beautiful Sunday morning in April 1977. A Hapag-Lloyd B727 is next for take-off behind.
Information from sr692.com:
Swissair ordered a DC-9 tailored to their needs called the DC-9-51, with higher capacity and bigger range than the previous models. The -51 was 2.5 meters longer than the -41 and 4.5 meters longer than the -32, which were in service together with the -51.
HB-ISN was delivered new to Swissair in 1975. Sold to SAS as SE-DFN, later OY-CTB. Sold to Alisadra / Meridiana as I-SMEJ. Later Celsius Capital N2248F, afterwards registered UR-BYL flying for airlines such as Khors Air, Hunair, AeroSvit ... Finally registered 4L-GNN with Georgian National Airlines and Sky Georgia Airlines.
Still seen stored at TBS in April 2019.
