G-AWKJ
BAC 111-408EF One-Eleven
128
Channel Airways
Classic Riem shot with this G-AWKJ parked in front of the tower which still had a "Parkposition" indicator next to the crow’s nest. The nose of a Court Line One-Eleven is peeking in on the right.
Channel Airways operated three BAC 1-11s; they visited Munich on a few ski-charters only. This airliner was finally active with Okada Air of Nigeria, and when the airline suspended operations in 2002, all of their BAC 1-11s were wfu at Benin City; this one was 5N-AYV.
