Thank you to www.flickr.com/photos/138493734@N07/ for pointing out the ugliness of the gun handle on my previous shot. It gave me reason to look back at stills and realise that the actual handle shape was a bit straighter and could be accomplished with the large handlebar piece. I have updated the parts list and instructions on Rebrickable.
I also tried to make the canopy more transparent but for the life of me I cannot seem to make it work. I spent several renders doing a deep-dive into the Mecabricks transparent shader and this was the best I could come up with. In the end I basically just turened off all noise on the canopy, including the built-in roughness, but it still looks like a piece of frosted glass. Has anyone else encountered this issue and found a fix?
