Independence Day

Bangladesh Independence Day takes place on 16th of December – an important date for Bangladeshis who remember and celebrate the date in which they became free of Pakistani rule (since 1971). This photo was taken in Ramna Park, Dhaka, during the crowded celebration in 2010.
