Bhutanese Monk with Prayer Beads

A novice monk with prayer beads in Bhutan.

 

This photo uses the Rembrandt Lighting technique - which is to have one side of the face brightly lit while the other side is dark with only a small triangle of light showing under the eye. This monk is sitting very close to a bright window in a low lit room.
