Buddy System
Yoyogi Park (代々木公園) loop. I saw a running club previously [who since passed me] and these two were 'stragglers' towards back; thought they made a cute couple and that Pooh would say "maybe that's us in 25 years." Turns out, the guy on the left is a guide for the lady on the right: Many such pairs of people passed me as I made the loop, and it appeared that all the people with guides--or buddies--had some sort of vision impairment or other disability. Sometimes the pairs were holding hands, sometimes connected by a small rope (or similar), and other times no physical connect but close proximity. Smile-worthy :)
