Buxton Bound

CPH27 arrives into the historic Thirlmere station for a shuttle trip to Buxton and return.

 

Buxton loop line shuttles are occasionally operated by the New South Wales Rail Transport Museum, and can be hauled by steam during the winter period.

 

After the Canberra Railway Museum went into administration, CPH27 and other rollingstock (most notably Beyer-Garrat 6029) were housed in the NSW Rail Transport Museum on a contract with the ARHS.
